E.C.H.O.—Environmental Containment and Hazard Oversight
Welcome, Operator.
Congratulations on being selected for the E.C.H.O. Remote Monitoring Initiative. A proud joint venture between the United States and Canadian governments, dedicated to protecting our northern frontier from environmental hazards. You are entrusted with the solemn duty of safeguarding remote communities through state-of-the-art surveillance, timely reporting, and decisive action.
Your mission is simple:
Solve Puzzles: Maintain operational security by deciphering cryptic clues and restoring lost communications. Remember, persistence is the hallmark of a true Operator.
Collect Cassettes: Each recording is vital evidence in the ongoing fight against misinformation and panic. All transmissions must be logged and analyzed per E.C.H.O. protocol.
Evade Unclassified Entities: While E.C.H.O. assures all personnel that contained anomalies are under strict control, report any irregularities. Do not engage.
Reveal the Truth: Through unwavering dedication, uncover the deeper story behind E.C.H.O. A story of courage, sacrifice, and technological progress. Remember: only those with clearance are permitted to question the mission.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, remain calm.
Backup power is provided for your safety.
E.C.H.O. will be watching.

GAME FEATURES
Immersive Sound Design
Environmental Containment requires vigilance. Every breath, every distant footstep, every unexplained noise. Your ears are your first line of defense.
Operators are reminded: ambient audio cues are not to be ignored. Proper attention to unusual sounds may be critical to mission success and your continued safety.

E.C.H.O. FIELD GUIDE:
PHENOMENA CATALOGUE
EYES
This entity advances only when unobserved. Prolonged direct eye contact is recommended; any lapse may result in rapid approach, as indicated by audible impacts. For your protection: maintain visual contact and create distance as soon as possible.
SCREECHER
Typically dormant and slow-moving, this phenomenon is triggered by exposure to direct light. The signature auditory cues, fractured cries and bone-like snapping—indicate heightened activity. If detected: extinguish all illumination and remain concealed. Avoid visual engagement.

POWER OUTAGES
FIELD EQUIPMENT ADVISORY
Due to legacy infrastructure, consistent power supply cannot be guaranteed. Operators are encouraged to memorize the location of the nearest fuse box and prepare for temporary outages.
Remember: Protocol 4.3—restore power immediately. Downtime endangers both the mission and operator wellbeing.
Throughout the facility, Operators will encounter encrypted cassette tapes—each containing mission-critical transmissions, system logs, and [REDACTED] anomaly data.
Your mission:
Recover and decode these cassettes using the authorized E.C.H.O. radio terminal.

Operators deployed to [REDACTED] sectors are tasked with recovering encrypted audio cassettes. These cassettes contain incident logs, emergency protocols, and sometimes, unexplainable phenomena.
Recovery and decryption are mandatory for mission advancement.
